Obsessive Rambling Disorder

I haven't saved a cent this fortnight - I've gone and seen Twilight twice (I'm once again ridiculously obsessed, I'd thought I'd gotten over it), I've been to Southbank and back with Bekbek to this bookfest thinger and sushi, I've been to Logan to a BBQ for Beck's birthday, and I've bought dvd's and books and all manner of crap. Oddly enough, I don't feel guilty about it either, which is weird. I haven't not saved anything since I last had to buy uni textbooks in July. Hopefully starting from Friday or Tuesday, depending on when I get paid because Australia day buggers it up, I will start the anal retentive saving again.

It's getting so very close, the Europe trip. We leave on the 10th of April and it's nearly February. I'm slightly freaking out about the plane trip. I haven't been in a plane for that long a trip since I came home from America in 2006, and the last time I tried to go on such a trip I fully went berko and had a string of panic attacks in a row. Of course that could have been what was waiting for me at the end of the flight rather than the flight itself, but still. Completely shot down any self confidence I had and it took me forever to get this normal again. If you can call this normal. So I'm starting to think that maybe I should just get the flight that Beck and Bryan are going on so I will have someone familar there to help keep me calm. Might be worth it, in the end.

Anyone planning on doing what Sam Kekavitch says and having Australia Week? Me too. I'll be lazing around the beach watching cricket and eating chippies and icecream, if anyone wants me. You're welcome to join in. Decked out in green and gold with aussie flag pluggers and an aussie flag tied around my neck as a cape. I'll forgo the watermelon hat though, don't want to look too ridiculous.  Mum's even making an Aussie flag tea cosy, because apparently the teapot doesn't look Australian enough. I love this country, we're all bloody mental.

Amusing t-shirt I saw today at Morayfield: Black, with red ribbon like a present, and the gift tag said: To - Women, From - God. Made me laugh because the bloke wearing it looked like a lizard with hair.
