State of Origin, drinking, and Kung Fu.
Bek and I went to the RSL Wednesday night to watch the Queensland vs NSW game, and oh my god. It was completely awesome. We won 16-10, won the series 2-1, and now have won 3 years in a row. I don't really remember much about the game (or the night itself, other than that I had heaps of fun, heh) other than the awesome try Israel Folou scored that was more acrobatic than I have come to expect from a rugby league player, but we got maroon balloons! Lol. I drank far too much - either the alcohol reacted badly with my meds or I'm getting weaker with age because I was sick as a dog yesterday. It could not have been very fun for poor Bek. That part wasn't much fun for me either.
Anyway, we went and saw Kung Fu Panda today at the rainbow shed that is the Bribie Cinemas. I actually liked it, it was silly and cute. Heh. And rather amusing. The amount of kids screaming and demanding to go home kind of got on my nerves, but still. I felt loads better today but was still a bit spacey, which Bek probably noticed from my lack of conversational skills. It was good to hang out in a non-msn capacity ,very cruisy, and I had loads of fun. You should come up more often Bekbek! I only hope that my utter cadbury-ness and consequent 2 days of hangover didn't convince you that I'm completely mentally deficient. heheh. I believe you promised a detailed account of the State of Origin too, since I don't remember all that much after those annoying kids left.
