Mochan & Wish Club

"Mochan & Wish Club" - strange name I would say, but thats probably the craziest and most open japanese guy I ever met and its him that I have the chance to stay with for the few nights Im in Shimizu.
His profile is the first one to open when you check couchsurfing for Japan and thats not very surprising. His friends lists on CS/HS are huge and his welcome to Japan activities are really incredible.
He used to run a bar here in Shimizu, but some years ago he sold his business and he decided to devote himself entirely to his idea of  "wish club".  Its kind of social club, or maybe more like a party, for the japanese people to have the chance of meeting foreign travelers and to go over this really strong japanese shyness barrier.
Before, he used to make parties in Tokyo all the time, but then he got kicked out from the place by his landlord and now moved back  to his native Shimizu.  He has really amazing ideas of how to make wish club bigger and bigger and maybe even become international one day ;))  Im the first Lithuanian he meets, but he had some one from Latvia in one of his parties before (I can see "Riga balzams" bottle in his kitchen :D).  He always hosts people through couchsurfing or hospitalityclub and then once in a while he goes to visit them in their own countries (his next trip to Europe is in June, sadly Im still not gonna be home yet).
Mochan is very impressive character with some incredible ideas and of course it would be great if he can manage to make all of them happen ;)

Apart from just chatting with him, today all day I was just sitting in the sea port area of Shimizu and enjoying great views over the magnificent Mt. Fuji peak :D   Hitch hiking to the big capital Tokyo tomorrow!

There is some very artistic picture (stolen from the net!) of Shimizu city with the snow caped Fuji peak in the background ;)
