you know, in college, I never imagined that places existed where I work. You watch office space and think that is the worst working environment, one where you are constantly plagued with boredom. You may not be challenged, but at least you aren't degraded. At least the people in that movie are semi adults.
I deal with children. Seriously, I don't understand how there could be so much drama, so much pettiness, in one location. I don't understand how the vice president of a company can talk about his or her employees in such a manner, in front of them- how they can not understand how this could affect office moral. I do not understand how a President or CEO of a company can have such blatant disrespect for its employees, and make such inappropriate and sexual jokes to clients and staff members.
I suppose at William and Mary, I was mostly surrounded by smart, intelligent people who respected other people at the most basic of levels, unlike this place. I just dont understand how this can even exist. I guess I was spoiled, William and Mary is a cloistered place in terms of atmosphere.
