So Close...
Four days since I posted last, whoops? One day until we move, huzzah!
In the time since I last posted, I have...
*Taken all of my finals.
*"Graduated", though I didn't bother to walk and am just gonna get my diploma when they mail it to me.
*Gone to a friend's wedding reception
*Hung out with various people, mostly cieloan and nermoir.
*Packed like a mad woman. No, seriously! I have pretty much all of my clothes packed, all of my books packed, my shoes packed, my bathroom stuff in a basket thing that I can add to when the time comes, my desk 90% cleared up, and I called our future landlady like three times to confirm that we could move in on Saturday without any problems. Unfortunately, I'll need to call again to see if we could haul our stuff over a little earlier maybe...
*Looked at some photographers online and got it down to these two, the first (which we're not so sure about) and the second being Brazil's English teacher this last semester. Since he still hasn't received his grade...well, I'm the one who's calling. Yay? Something makes me think we'll go with the second...
*Talked to Anna and Ci and arranged a Bro. Livingstone employee lunch on Monday. I am so looking forward to it. I'll get to try Rumbi's Island Grill for the first time, too!
*Bummed around work and gotten some things done.
*Planned a shopping trip with Anna and Ci on Thursday (I'll reconfirm this when they get back from an errand)
*Resisted being snide, catty, or mean because I was tired or irritable.
*Watched the first four episodes of Drive. Though...I'll have to wait for more of it later, I suppose?
Anyhoo, life continues as normal. Saturday (tomorrow) is going to be chaotic as all get out and I have to wonder how much sleep I'll even get tonight, what with finishing packing and cleaning. Plus we'll need to get my stuff moved pronto after they've checked us out, since Brazil's aunt and mother are taking us out to lunch at 1:30 (we managed to ask them to push it back for my sake). ...And then I'm supposed to unpack. Riiiiight. *sighs*
But we're moving. And life will be great. Here I come large room, only four occupants, nice apartment! Huzzah!
