Mysterious Schedules

Dec 15, 2006 14:14

....I am so utterly confused!

I had my schedule all set up, nice and perfect. Then I get an e-mail from a professor saying I'm enrolled in a Study Abroad "only" class and oh, the Wickman class I was in? Is suddenly not in my schedule. ...and is full. And the other section of the class that I'm not supposed to be enrolled in? Full.

...today was supposed to just be homework and papers, not figuring out my schedule again. Maybe I can e-mail Wickman and jimmy-rig my way into his class...

No love, BYU. No love for you today.

But half of my D&C Final is officially done. Just gotta edit my sucky paper and take the easy half. Whoopie.

EDIT: Got a reply from Wickman.

Hi, Bel,

Okay, this bugs me. Not your email, but rather the administrative glitch. The fact is, the department scheduled too many 495 seminars for winter, so they dropped mine and gave me a 292 class to teach instead. (I'm not happy about this, but there was really nothing the department could do--the other 292s were capped out and they needed to add an additional one.) I would have thought for sure that you would get an email informing you of the course change.

I wish, I truly wish, I could add you to a 495 class next semester. I would do so without hesitation. Unfortunately, my section of that class does not exist. I'm so sorry. I hope you find another one that suits your fancy.

Best of luck with the paper. Beyond that, I hope you enjoy the holidays.

Matt

...but at least Wickman still likes me? *kicks things*
