So. I'm able to order stuff now. But only the test vouchers. The method for me to order our test-practice product "Certiprep", well, that doesn't work because of the very medium that was chosen to have it in.
...and I want to stab all of those customers who call up for it and don't ask nicely. Especially the ones who complain over and over again and say "I called at 7:30 this morning and it's nearly 2 here and" blah blah blah "you're obviously making a lot of money off of this and it certainly is taking too long for you and my only recourse must be to go complain to the people who are in partnership for this"
Etc. Etc.
I had the information to say "Hey, punk, shush! I know you feel dismissed and ignored, but there are a whole ton of other people who have also called about this deal. And guess who is the only person inputting these orders? Me! And our system is crap and I can't even fully do those, so SHUT UP and give us at least a full day before you come back and basically rip into the poor receptionist who usually would have nothing to do with it. So bite me, kay? And just FYI - us selling vouchers worth at least $35 - at the usual cheapest - or more for $17.50 is a good deal for us? Riiiiight. Total moneymaker here. Sure."
Of course, there are too many calls coming in for me to do that, so I just tried to stall her and she eventually went and called the IAAP (International Association of Administrative Persons, or something like that) to complain to them. Likely about how crappy we are. And part of me would agree with her, but the rest of me? Just wants her to sit back, realize the deal goes until friggin' June and wait her precious little turn.
And I think I've worked out most my rage. Hopefully. I don't want poor Brazil to suffer from it. *deep breath* At least I know I don't deal with stupid angry customers well. Grievances will never be my position, no siree.
At least BYU updated their financial online account crap and realized (after I called them) that I had been wrongfully charged? Though why they printed up all of those letters and sent them out before said update, well, that I will never understand.
...I guess I should leave any more comments for later.
Apologies for the rant.
