Wednesday, Lovely Wednesday
Well, it's Wednesday. I've made it this far and that is something to be rejoiced. Monday dragged on and on, and Tuesday felt like a repeat of Monday. Except much less reception-ing (only 2:45 to 5!).
Got my Visiting Teaching appointments done, so that's definitely a weight off me. Haven't heard from my companion in over a month and I'm sorta worried she's gotten some other terrible sickness (besides her Lupis). But I did visit both my girls for about an hour each, though the second girl had to give me her new address over the phone. She had moved last Friday (or so) and I had neglected to get her new one...until I parked in front of her old place and remembered that she'd moved. Oh well, she seemed perfectly okay with me being a few minutes late. Overall, it was just fun to talk to two nice girls for about an hour each. Refreshing, I suppose. And I'm getting Visit Taught tonight, so we'll see what other random stories I remember.
Anyhoo, I finally got a call from the Mary Kay rep. And it looks like we're aiming for this Saturday, from 12:30-2:30. That's not set in stone, but I think it could work. I still need to invite other people, but the people I've already invited are free at that time, if I remember correctly. And um, I'll try to have food there. Or something. *trying not to fail*
Anyone know any really good mechanics? My car's electronics are all sorts of screwed up. First the back windows wouldn't go down, then the console/radio would turn on at random times after starting the engine, now the front windows won't move. Plus diagnostics machines can't find anything. Brazil is gonna check fuses tonight, but he couldn't find anything when the back windows went out... And uh...on a semi-unrelated note, the sprayer for washer fluid on my passenger side won't work either. Woe. It's a 2002! Why is it going break-down-y on me?
Plus I rejoined the Scarlet Spiral (now Fallen Leaves) RP. I've had the OK for a bit, but when that came I'd lost the inspiration for it... and worked at regaining. I miss playing my spunky, almost androgynous ANBU. Ah, Ayumi. How I've missed you. And yes, bitter_banshee, I'm kicking myself for double-naming characters. Argh. L5R and Naruto? They just don't mix. On that note...would you feel like drawing any more pictures of her, rurounigochan? *bats eyelashes* We could work out some kind of payment system?
And...I think that's it. Utah-peoples, please give me a sort of RSVP, though I'll try to call you in the next day or so to confirm. And um...let me know if it's okay for her to call you beforehand to figure out color samples for you and such.
