I need to move back home - stat!
As if I didn't have enough reasons pulling me back home already, I'm tickled pink about this one! :)
In the last 24 hours I've had one offer to do a baby shower cake and two to do wedding cakes! I repeat: WEDDING CAKES! :) What an honor that folks are confident enough in my budding talent to trust me with their wedding cake. I'm positively giddy.
HOWEVER -
I live in Virginia. :( Meaning I will have to take what little vacation I have at work to fly home and make said cakes. One wedding is in September and the next is in January. Not to mention I have to buy a plane ticket home. I suppose I should factor that into whatever I charge them for the cake. Not the ENTIRE ticket - but at least something to help me cover the expense.
So can I just go home now, please?
