All over the place ...
I'm sure many of you have heard my wip rant by now, so I'll spare you the pain and agony of listening to it again. I'll just take a quick moment to say that if you're going to list a WIP as a winning fic on a contest, kindly do the rest of the world a favor and label it as such. That having been said ... have some fic recs! (They make the world all better after 22 chapters of WIP ending at a climactic point.)

Author's Summary: On a sleepless night Remus Lupin finds himself alone in the Hogwarts Owlery. He scribbles a note on a spare bit of parchment and sends it out into the dark night. What happens when someone answers?
Have I or have I not said that this woman needs to stop writing Snupin? Well before it was because everything of hers that I read that was Remus/Severus was fall-out-of-my-chair hysterical! Now she's just good. No, I really mean it. This isn't a funny fic, it's a serious and touching fic. I think I'm going to have to give up and just admit that I really, really like it when thetreacletart writes Snupin. Seriously, though, it's lovely and ... just perfect.

Author's Summary: To save wizardkind from falling into the Dark Lord’s evil clutches, intrepid teenage hero Harry Potter embarks on a dangerous quest: infiltrating Malfoy Manor and getting information from Draco using highly unorthodox methods. POST HBP, complete.
Ok, for starters ... if the title doesn't give it away, this fic is very silly. Almost crack-fic silly, but not quite. I love the waylaid hunt for the Horcrux. I love polyjuiced!Harry, totally-distracted!Draco, and cleverest-witch!Hermione. It's great for a giggle or fifty and well worth sitting down in one go. Just be prepared for any others around you to look at you as if you've grown two heads when you continuously giggle for hours whilst reading.
Favorite Lines: "I realize that you're blind as a bat, but surely even you have noticed that I'm a pretty man." - Blaise Zabini
(I just realized I could keep quoting here, but then I'd just end up copy-pasting the whole dang thing and that would be bad for many, many reasons. So, just go read the darn thing.)

Pairing: Harry/Severus with a side of Ron/Hermione
Reccer's Summary: After a too-enlightening conversation with Hermione, Harry has the bright idea to lull Snape to sleep during the final showdown with Voldemort. His methodology is rather unusual.
Apparently after the seriousness of the first fic, I needed laughter to make up for it. This fic is highly amusing and a somewhat accurate anecdote regarding the male of the species' incessant need for sleep immediately upon acheiving orgasm. Ah, just go read it. It's funny and by florahart, what else do you need to know?
And I am highly amused by how many guesses it takes Hermione versus how many it takes Ron. Highly amused, I say!
