Sorry to be petulant
but i think it's ridiculous that it should be nigh on impossible for two people who are doing 'okay' for themselves to be completely unable to purchase an inexpensive house.

Yet I know for a fact that there are people making far less than we are who are able to own thier own home, so what are we doing wrong?
I'm going to do a budget to see where we are spending our money- We're also going to pre-qualify to see what we can be approved for... hopefully I will figure out what the deal is, and we can afford it, or the smaller one similar to it...
