Electronic Cigarettes

It is the first full day of me not smoking and only using the e-cigarette. It is heavier than a real cigarette and the taste takes some getting use to. For the first part of the day, I didn't drag on it, just played with it... held it in my hand and mouth, etc. I wasn't craving the nicotine at that point, more just the physical aspects of smoking. Tonight I started dragging on it - the taste got better over time. The mist you exhale really does look like smoke, but it dissipates much faster.

I think the battery is dying so I will need to charge it. Also I notice the cartridge is getting harder to hit off of, so will probably have to replace that soon as well. It is following true to the ad though - one cartridge is about equal to one pack of smokes - so will cost about $2 for a "pack", as cartridges are 19.99 for 10.
My next cartridge order, I'll get the ones with no nicotine (Im on the ultra lights currently).

I am very happy with the results so far - even though it's only been one day. I didn't cheat at all - not once. No taking a drag off my dad's, no smoking a long butt from the ash tray, nothing. Dad and my brother smoked around me all day, and it didn't bother me at all. If I were on the pills or the patch, I would have been going nuts to get to a store to get my own or bugging them to lend me a smoke. I really think its more the hand/mouth thing (what can I say, I've always been orally inclined) with me. I think that is more my problem than the nicotine. The electronic cigarette solves that problem.

Yay me!
