TASTES LIKE BUTTA'
Things have really been strange lately. And I'm not even a little bit kidding.
Spring break ended this past Friday, and I am now back at school, doing my best to enjoy my last month and a half as a high school student. I won't know if I graduate until about three or so days before graduation. I have to pass one last regents exam in order to graduate, which honestly, blows my mind. I am in no way superior to those I attend school with, however, my brain's capacity does go beyond that of a normal high school student. And no test is going to prove that. I hate math.
I've been hanging out with my friend Kate a lot. A good Christian girl that has a special place in my heart. She's the one that convinced me to go to God camp. Everyone laughs when I say God camp, but I don't look at it in any other way, to be honest. I mean, it was amazing. New England Keswick...God camp. Anyways, she and I have been together a lot, and we've both decided to get an apartment together after school. We're not going to college right away, we both want to save up some money before we go off to school. We want to experience and have fun and just be teenagers for a little while before we go out into the big bad world of mediocre education.
Now, the weirdness. The weirdness, you see, begins here. Shane's started calling me. He's called me four or five times in the past week. And if you've been following, Shane was my best friend about a year ago, and then in December, dropped me because of false accusations. But he said that he wanted to reconcile, so I guess that's where we're at. I don't know. It's weird. He's invited me to the Plaza Diner for a nacho date. Myself and my sister, whom he was also friends with. It should be interesting.
Aleighsa and Jenny are planning their New York trip. I am so excited to see them. I love those girls...we're going to have a blast together. And then after they're here, I'm going back to Georgia with them. I'll have an opportunity to meet all of these amazing people. Christy, Nicole, Drew, Kyle, ...so many people. I am so excited.
And I've got a job now to subsidise all of these upcoming expenses. And I'm going for my road test on Friday, 9AM. Wish me luck.
