(( Moved from here))

*In one of the cells in the brig of the Nemesis II, a mournfully low but still on-key voice is singing.* "Nobody knows..the trouble I've seen...Nobody knows--"

*The slamming of a sword pommel against the wall directly beside the cell cuts off the rest of the words. Motormaster glares in at Channel.* Shut up, siren. Nobody cares!

*Channel pouts in return.* You're no fun.

[Motormaster] I've got better ideas of fun than that warbling. Stop or I'll cut out your vocalizer!

*Channel turns up her nose -- back to her previous attitude now that the fear side effects have worn off -- and she shifts around where she's sitting on the floor to face the back of the cell. She knew it would take a considerable amount of her other spy skills to distract the Stunticon, but she wouldn't dare even try. With him and Dirge standing guard for the moment, she wasn't sure what options to consider. She was hesitating to comm Soundwave for help because she didn't want the others turning against him because of her, what with the lack of other command in the base just then. Not that she was overly familiar with the Earth Decepticons' politics. She just knew that Megatron was not there, Starscream was apparently trying to take over, and there really should be someone else as an option over Starscream.*

*Meanwhile, when she ventures a "look" toward the Matrix, she feels more confusion and quickly suppresses it. She isn't sure what went wrong or when it went wrong, but it seems like she failed at whatever it was she was "blessed" by Primus to do.*

((Edit at 7/15, 6:00 am local time: Because it's too early and I'm too tired to play musical accounts right now. So for those who weren't aware by now, yes, I am playing all three of these charas.))

*Dirge also glares resentfully at the femme before turning to Motormaster.* So are we just going to stay here? Not like she can go anywhere. I'd rather shoot Autobots, not babysit them.

[Channel] I am not an Autobot.

[Motormaster] *growls at her* If you're not a Decepticon, you have to be an Autobot.

*Channel shifts around enough to point toward his replaced symbol.* Not necessarily.

*Motormaster glances at the insignia, a sneer coming to his face.* It means nothing! I am a Decepticon!

[Channel] *standing and gesturing to her own "Autocon" symbol.* Do you hear the whispers of something else? An offer for a different path? Where your past wouldn't matter, where there is a new goal to work toward? A goal that concerns all of Transformer kind?

*Motormaster considers this for a few seconds. Then he reaches for the control panel beside the cell and types in a code to make the energy bars resonate on a frequency that would make the cell's occupant feel sick. It has the intended effect as Channel stops, swaying for a nanoklik before she's forced to sit down and shutter her optics. Motormaster grins and sets the bars back to normal.*

[Motormaster] Now shut up. I don't care what this symbol means or why it changed on its own. I'll just paint over it or scratch it out if I have to. I am a Decepticon! Nothing will change that!
