Goals

I have been looking different diet options over and have made a few goals for myself. I currently weigh somewhere near 142 lbs or so and want to lose 30 lbs to be 112 lbs. I’ve made up a system for myself that for each 5 lbs that I lose, I get a reward-the rewards getting better with the more weight that I shed. So here is my schedule:

Weight Reward
1st 5 lbs: 137 New CD/DVD
2nd 5 lbs: 132 Night out dancing
3rd 5 lbs: 127 Pedicure
4th 5 lbs: 122 Day at Salon (hair cut, highlights, & lowlights)
5th 5 lbs: 117 New outfit (pants/jeans/skirt & top)
6th 5 lbs” 112 Any lingerie item that I want from Fredrick’s of Hollywood

I am planning on paying for these items by saving up the amount of money that I would be spending on food. So if I were going out to eat with friends, I would order the smallest, cheapest order of side vegetables (or something like that), but save the difference of the money that I would have spent on an actual meal. So if the side of veggies costs $2.99, but a normal dinner is $8.99, I would save $6 to put away. I think that will add up fast.

I am also going to try and write down everyday what I eat and enter onto this diary. I think it will help me to be more accountable. I don’t know yet what type of diet I am going to do… if I will do just restricting less than 500 calories or the 2-4-6-8 diet or what. I know I am planning on exercising 1 hour to 2 hours each day and spending at least 1 hour running.

Height: 5’3”
CW: 142 lbs
HW: 180 lbs (8 years ago)
LW: 120 lbs (2 years ago)
LT goal: 112 lbs
GOAL: lose 30 lbs
Current BMI: 25.2 (considered overweight from http://nhlbisupport.com/bmi/)
GOAL BMI: 19.8

Side thoughts: I got married on Saturday. Everything turned on wonderful and beautiful. I actually didn't end up eating that much because I was too busy to. I must be extremely careful though around my hubby.
