Sale Sale Sale!
So the last few days have been kind of crazy... I got back from a WONDERFUL vacation in Hawaii, spent two nice relaxing days before having to start work doing shopping and various things, then on the DAY that I got back from work, I got knocked off my feet by a nasty cold. (figuratively speaking). It has mostly attacked my throat. I had a sore throat and while the whole running nose stuffy head thing wasn't too severe, I sounded like I had a frog in my throat, and now that I feel pretty much on the road to recovery, my voice hasn't improved at all. If I talk too much I start coughing uncontrollably. So it has kept my mouth shut. I don't know maybe it's not a normal cold? Usually when I get a cold, I'll get a sore throat at the start then it moves up into my nose and I get a runny nose and a stuffy head for a few days, but that part only lasted one afternoon.
Anyways, I may SOUND like I'm really sick but I feel a lot better, more energy and everything.
Today was my day off. I went down to visit my parents and deliver my second computer to my dad to see if he can fix it. While I was on vacation we had a poweroutage and it got fried. It won't start at all, doesn't even respond when you press the start button, not even when plugged directly into the wall. I'm sure the power source needs replacing, I just hope the Motherboard didn't take a hit too. It will suck to have to replace all that stuff.
Anyways, while I was out I stopped by the shopping center. I needed to return a necklace my mom got me for Christmas, but it broke and so I was going to get store credit for it. Anyways, this started a chain reaction... EVERY store was having some kind of HUGE sale with stuff marked at least 60% off. I couldn't resist... I had to go look around. I hadn't done any serious shopping since last May. My little sidetrip turned into a whole shopping spree! I made off like a bandit! It was such a cool feeling. I got some awesome deals. Awww I can't resist a sale! Don't you LOVE that feeling? You get stuff you actually really want and when it's originally $60 you get it for $20? I got three new pairs of pants (two cordorouy and one cargo), two tank tops and a really cute sweater for $100 total! Oh and Victoria Secret is having their Semi-Annual Sale... enough said!
I have to go into work for an extra day tomorrow, the designers have a deadline on Monday and I'm going in to help out, my chief designer has a few projects for me for his documentation he has to submit, so it'll probably be more like a half-day.
