In the last week I:
-Had a level 2 trapeze lesson and learned some crazy new tricks.
-Had a ballet class and finally understood some key principles in form.
-Performed in an awesome PGraph show that was an improvised Dougles Adams story. OMG it was so good!
-Performed in a super funny and challenging Available Cupholders show where we performed a Harold.
-Had a fun rehearsal for Austin Secrets.
-Had a very inspiring PGraph rehearsal for our newest format "Box & String", a collaboration with Steve Moore of Physical Plant Theater.
-Spent 11 hours writing a grant proposal for a PGraph project with Kareem (and submitted it!).
-Had a great meeting/rehearsal for my Mortified performance piece in April with my producer Erica Lies.
-Got cast in a series of short films that shoots this week!
-Made a mock-up design for the Austin Secrets set. I feel real good about it (but it's gonna be a lot of work!).
-Wrote a recommendation letter for a previous professor of mine for the Professor of the Year award.
-Designed a bootyload of graphics and posters for Hideout Theatre shows and Hideout Coffee House products.
-Was featured in this
Austin Chronicle article about film roles for women.
Lots of things on the docket for this week too - shooting some film stuff, creating the Austin Secrets scenic design, premiering the show, another Cupholders and PGraph show, going to an Electric Six concert, watching some local theatre, and doing lots more werk.
Life has been overwhelming lately. Writing about all the things that have been happening lately brings me a kind of peace.
