What the crap, I'm updating?!
It's been like 2 weeks and I haven't written a word in here. Which is highly unusual, because I spend just as much time on the internet as ever. So you should all know from my commenting/IMing/MySpace surveying that I have not died. Nor have I been especially busy, other than working a "real job".
So about this job. I haven't discussed it at any sort of length, so what the heck.
Let's start with today. Today I actually got to work ON TIME, which is a complete rarity for me. I have a steady pattern of showing up for my 8:30 shift at 8:42am. Go figure! So today the dialer went down. The Dialer™ is where you do not have to manually dial anything, it is all done by computer, and gives you very little time to figure out why it is you're calling whoever. Anyway, I was complaining about the dialer down-ness while joking with Lynyrd. (Yes, that's his real name.) He's a crazy kid. Anyway, I am quite sure that my overly assumptuous (heck if that's a word... it is now!) boss Sue did not believe a word of this "dialer is down" business, because after about 10 minutes she was like "oh, the dialer IS down?" That offends me. I'm sorry I don't want my job to be dull and boring like you seem to want yours to be, but it's not affecting my performance.
Speaking of my performance... yesterday I sucked really bad. I fully own up to that, I was not all there and it showed. So I only got about 20 elements verified. Status is 48. Today at about 3:45, my boss came up to me and said "go into this bucket and do this stuff because it will get your numbers up." And I was like yeah, I know I did really bad yesterday. To which she replied, "your numbers aren't much better today either." Now that's bullcrap because I was already at 30!!!! Stupid boss. I don't like her sometimes.
Well anyway, I should get going because one of my eljay friends is in town and I finally get to meet her, so I must prepare for this momentous occasion :-P
