Guys, I'm really proud of my little Eureka gallery! Every time (often!) I check the "last viewed" it makes me SO PLEASED to see that people are looking at it. It's just so rewarding to contribute something as basic at caps to a small fandom. Even if the small fandom element means only a few people will appreciate it.

HOW BALLS OUT FABULOUS IS THIS SHOW RIGHT NOW? It's all confidence and high energy. So entertaining! Sadly I'm still not attracted to either of the male leads enough to go Supernatural over it, but whateves, we'll see. There was a time long ago when I didn't look twice at Jensen Ackles, so apparently anything is possible.
Damon: Caroline of all people will not make it as a vampire.
I love that she was grossed out by the blood, even though she couldn't stop herself. Like she's still herself but with new urges and abilities. As opposed to the vamps on Buffy who changed significantly personality-wise as soon as they flipped.
Elena: I'm human. And I have to do human stuff otherwise I'm gonna go crazy.
Damon: Aren't you worried that one day all the little forest animals are gonna band together and fight back?
Caroline: Excuse me, where is everyone?
MATT. SO CUTE. WITH HIS SOUTHERN DRAWL AND HIS DUTIFUL BOYFRIEND CARE-TAKING. There's no picture of him, I know, for shame, but he's here in spirit.
Damon: Jeremy, so good to see you alive.
Damon: This is what we're not gonna do. We're not gonna walk around like we're invincible when it's this easy for me to end you.
Caroline: I remember.
AJKLAJLAKLAKLA! JAKJAKHAJ! AAKAMSM!
Caroline: I have a message from Katherine. She said game on.

Matt: Nice shot, killer.

Matt: You almost died, and it really freaked me out. I'm pretty sure that I'm in love with you. And now it seems like you don't feel the same way.
These two would make astoundingly pretty babies. Just sayin'.

NO IT IS NOT, DAMON. Man, there was such a running WHO IS TO BLAME theme to this episode. Not surprisingly, Damon is the one recklessly throwing it in all the wrong directions.
THIS MAKES ME SO SAD. One of my favourite moments from the premiere was when Bonnie burst out in tears because she was so relieved that Caroline was okay. Bonnie holds so much so tightly inside. A cold stiffness of beliefs she is desperate to hold on to. But her actual experiences are so much more muddied then she wants them to be. THIS ABOVE ALL. I wanted her to hug Caroline SO BADLY, but how the scene actually played out felt so much more true. I am hoping for as happy an ending as possible, though. Something messy and well-earned.
Stefan: You tell yourself that you're gonna get through it, that you're strong enough.
Oooh, I think I kind of love him a lot.
Elena: This isn't us. This can't be us.
Stefan: It's almost dawn. Come with me.
OH, SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP.
Stefan: I compelled the guard to go on break so that I could kiss my girlfriend on top of the Ferris wheel.
Stefan: We have to take these moments, Elena. I came back to this town to start a life with you. We can't forget to live it.
Elena: It's not gonna get any easier, is it?
Stefan: No. It's not.
