HI, HI, HI!!!

I almost e-mailed you, but then I decided to document my tiny feelings in this here blog. FEELINGS = SATISFACTION 100% GUARANTEED.

I want to watch this play out in secret--that's totally enough to keep it interesting, watching everyone else slowly find out! I really really do not need any rollercoaster-y-ness for these two. Just, let them be happy, tv gods, PLEASE.YES, YES AND YES. I'm hoping that if they play it out behind the scenes they won't feel it's necessary to make it huge and dramatic. Which really couldn't possibly last on this show with this format anyway. We don't get to follow them home at the end of the day, so it makes sense that we would only be partially in on it. The entire show isn't going to stop being what it is just because Jim and Pam are GOING HOME TOGETHER AT NIGHT AND OFTEN TIMES SPOONING ALL NIGHT LONG. Sorry, the caps lock got away from me for a minute there ( ... )

HAHAHA! EXACTLY! TAKE THAT, LJ!

I loved how they were still Jim-and-Pam, with the looks and the hijinks, but just like...kicked up a notch.

YEEEESS. JIM AND PAM REDUX!

AND, ERIN, I'M SO HAPPY FOR JIM HALPERT! HE'S WANTED THIS FOR EVEN LONGER THAN SHE HAS. HE LOVED HER BACK BEFORE SHE'D EVEN REALIZED SHE LOVED HIM TOO. I'M JUST SO PLEASED THAT THE BOY GOT THE GIRL!

They're the same Dynamic Duo, only now they get to HOLD HANDS.

OH GOD, YOU ARE KILLING ME! YOU AND THEY ARE KILLING ME WITH THE HAND HOLDING. IT'S ALL SO CHIVALROUS AND AMAZINGLY HOT.

(If anything the lack of hot kissing was my only disappointment, but that's okay. It was neither the time nor place)

I know happiness isn't considered entertaining, but maybe that's just because everyone else was doing it wrong.
PREACH IT. If there are two people who should fall in love, have babies, spend every single second together, it's them.

Oh man! Jim having a crush! The awkward elevator ride! It seems so long ago!

I almost don't want to watch any more (hahaha, yeah right), this was so perfect! In my head right now they are ABSOLUTELY spending every single second together. I'm sure it's, like, slightly embarrassing, but they also don't care because it took SO MUCH TO GET TO THAT PLACE THEY FULLY APPRECIATE FINALLY BEING ABLE TO HAVE EACH OTHER. One of those relationships where it's really hard not to move too fast because what's the point in not living together when you spend every second together anyway?

Micheal is going to cry. Micheal is going to be so happy it will make him cry (he will also take full credit, I'm sure). Kelly may also cry. Dwight will be cautiously skeptical.

I hadn't thought of that! Oh my goodness, you're so right. Michael is going to cry. I love that idea. And Kelly will clap and be all "Heeeeeeeeeee, Pam!"

If there isn't crying when Michael finds out I will be SORELY DISAPPOINTED. Hell, he'll probably want to throw an office party in their honor. *g*

PB&J! It took me a good solid pause to get that that was a play on JAM. Then I burst out laughing in the middle of the commercial break. WAY TO GO, SHOW.

A++++ COMMENT

If anyone can get 'functional, happy couple' right, it is The Office. That on-again/off-again crap is so overdone and not entertaining in the least. And I don't think it would work for Jim and Pam at all.

AGREED! It's as if someone did on-again/off-again ages ago, and everyone loved it the first time so much it created this infinite loop of triteness that has become the bane of television. And I agree 100% that if any show can do it differently, and do it right it's this one.

And I don't think it would work for Jim and Pam at all.

Word. This show just isn't about the big drama required of on-again/off-again. Not to say I don't love a little angst, but the angst can exist within something that's functional overall.
