Oh, oh! I watched the SPN finale yesterday. YEESH. WOW. That was one steamy pile of crap. I did like watching Lana break up with Lex, just because it was so long in the making, and because I love watching Lex descend down the path of insanity. And I always like having an evil Clark, because evil Clark is hot. But the rest of it? And all the not!dead people? They need to actually kill someone for real one of these days (just not Chloe). Oh, and the beginning! Way to up the CW gratuitous gore anti.

They need to actually kill someone for real one of these days (just not Chloe). Seriously. You see now what I mean, about the REALLY wanting to give up the stupid show except...Bizarro!! That should be fun! As long as Chloe is not dead. I don't think she's supposed to be, because there was some interview I heard about where they specifically said she's not dying because they would reveal her Krypto power (which is what, Phoenix tears?) and explore it next season.
Apparently I'm in a bubble because I just heard of this fandom business two days ago. It certainly is interesting. Someone made the good point that if banning is going to happen based on the basis of the content discussing illegal activities, then anything discussing illegal activities should be put into question. That's pretty messed up about the community being deleted and it discusses the novel, I will say. Sorry people are messing with your fandom fun. :(
I feel twitchy about the fact that there are no pictures in this post.
I did a post last night that didn't have any pictures either, and I also felt twitchy! I seriously almost included something at the last second. Heh. We're weird. I mean visual.
I only just heard about it recently, too. I'd heard about the people wanting to make money off fanfiction before, but the journal deletions is still relatively new, I think. And it hit the HP fandom first, so people not in that fandom got the info later

Oh man, GOOD POINT. I think I did hear someone about it being released in September. I don't know if that's when it'll air, or if that's when the full DVD will be released, but that plus Winchesters might in fact be TOO MUCH.
Watch those clips and your love will return right away! Followed by icons! Oh, also? When Laura, Phae and I were in a movie rental place in Waterloo we saw that there's a video of Charley's solo race trip thing that he did last year. I MUST HAVE IT. I love that dude.
Hee! HEE! Oh, man, the first thing I'm gonna do when and if I get my computer up and running again is rewatch Long Way Round. I suppose I could always Netflix it in the meantime. But, just, remember how awesome they are?? :)
Creepy person butting in alert! In one of the logs, Ewan says BBC 2 starts airing it in November. So it might conflict with November Sweeps, but the later half will be a nice little thing to have over the break.
I also had no idea about any of this stuff until this morning, and quite honestly, I still have no idea what's going on! I need to crawl out of my bubble and try to figure it out...but it sounds bad...and I like marshmallows and unicorns and freedom and stuff! But seriously, it's like a train wreck and I must look...what's going on?!

I don't really have all the pertinant links or anything. Though I'm sure it's all up at fandom_wank. It's all kind of exhausting to think about, and too scary for comfort. I'm just kind of waiting on pins and needles to see if it blows over, or gets worse. FINGERS CROSSED FOR THE FORMER.
