I'm actually OUT OF BREATH from how awesome that was. I just... yeah, what you said about lack of coherancy.

I was so worried that Nightshifter would be this one single shining moment of greatness this season, but now we have another, and all I want is more and more.

Well, I lied. One and a half hours. We watch it at midnight. Because I WORK on Thursdays sometimes. WHAT KIND OF A TRAVESTY IS THAT? Who WORKS on TV night? Oh, I do! Because I'm stupid! But I had to miss The Office and most of CSI and now I have to stay up late to get in SPN. BUT I AM NOW REFRESHED AND READY.

It's a serious fucking travesty that you sometimes have to work. But one and a half hours isn't so bad! Except I can't believe you're over here risking spoilerage. DON'T SPOIL YOURSELF.

Aw, you work on tv night because you're too good of a person to lie and say you have a class that night.

BUT I AM NOW REFRESHED AND READY.

WELL, GOOD! I can't speak for CSI, but there is goodness ahead of you regarding the other two. Hey, speaking of CSI did they ever figure out who that was killing people and then making models of the crime scene? I'M STILL CURIOUS.

I felt like I should've been watching it with a checklist.

- Jo is a little sister to Dean? check
- wet!Dean? check x 2
- angry!Sam? check xinfinity
- Huge, looming, forceful Sam? Uhhh, what was I saying? Oh yeah, check.
- Bobby! (Youcan'thurtBobbynooooo!) Phew!
- Awesome editing? Check.
- Cool motel room? Check.
- Hunting, breaking and entering, researching, lurking? Check, check, check, check.

THE DOORS! OMG. I think that was the point where I finally had to flail out loud. Hee.

I am so in love with your list.

Huge, looming, forceful Sam? Uhhh, what was I saying? Oh yeah, check.

GOD, YES. I didn't even know it was possibly to be that turned on by the guy. I really REALLY hope Sam gets out of this mopey funk he's been in forever and gets angry on The Demon's ass BECAUSE I WANT MORE ANGRY SAM.

- Awesome editing? Check.

YES, YES, YES! And even though some of it was kinda gimicky, like at the beginning, I don't know, IT ALL TOTALLY WORKED FOR ME. And how hot was the editing while Sam was posessed in the chair? AND OMG HOW AWESOME WAS IT WAS BOBBY AND DEAN WERE ALL WE DON'T KNOW WHAT'S HAPPENING' AND THEN SAM BROKE FREE.

*SIGH OF GLEE*

YES, THE DOORS! This is why we need to be able to rewatch NOW. Because there was too much goodness in this episode for any one person to remember.

I WAS SO ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT I WAS STANDING. THE BEGINNING SCENE WAS PUT TOGETHER SO PERFECT IN THE WAY THAT WE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT'S GOING ON BUT ITS SO PRETTY YOUR BRAIN DOESNT FUNCTION CORRECTLY ANYWAY.

I COULDN'T AGREE MORE!

I swear I'm always right away disappointed when an episode starts with the cliched "we see the MotW attack someone" scenario. It's sooooo much better when they just shove us right in to the episode and don't even let us catch our breath!

SERIOUSLY.

This episode was so chock-full of suspense I couldn't handle myself AT ALL. And right before the commercial break they'd have that extra OMFGWHAT!-dosed moment of AWESOME, which means that each time it cut to adverts, I inhaled so hard I thought my lungs would burst. I looked like a FISH.

WELL DONE, WRITERS. WELL DONE.

STEPH!!!

When they cut to commercial break after Evil!Sammy knocked Jo out I had NO ONE TO YELL AT BUT MYSELF! It was too much to handle!!!!

I am totally with you, though, Sam needs to just be evil more often or something, because Jared was so fucking on tonight. Why can't he be fun and awesome to watch like that more often? WHY I ASK YOU?

Also, demons keep possessing Dean's family and telling him he's worthless and it makes me sad. I would like to be hugging him now. Can we make that happen?

STEPH!

HEATHER!!!

GAH!!! I really thought he might kill Jo. I REALLY THOUGHT THEY MIGHT GO THERE! But then it was even worse that it was Sam trying to get Dean to kill him. Except, that it was really just Meg toying with Dean, except that you know on the inside Sam was wanting Dean to kill him SO IT STILL WORKS.

Why can't he be fun and awesome to watch like that more often? WHY I ASK YOU?

This is the bagillion dollar question! Seriously, I know it's Sam's thing to be emo, but I think it makes perfect sense that he'd reach a point where he's tired of being sad and worried. Where he just wants to take charge and take the evil bitches down. You know? And Dean sure would love it!

That's so true! Poor, poor, Dean.

Hee. I kinda love our (almost) matching icons!

GAH!!! I really thought he might kill Jo. I REALLY THOUGHT THEY MIGHT GO THERE!

Me, too! My roommate walked in halfway through the torture scene and I was all "They're going to kill Jo!" (Only, we still refer to her as Meg. I'm not sure my roommate knows her name on SPN. :p) At some point I think I convinced myself they couldn't kill her because then they couldn't have Ellen anymore and that just wouldn't work for me, so. I was glad when they didn't actually kill her. BUT THERE WERE A FEW TENSE MOMENTS THERE.

Seriously, though? Evil Sam and the Jo-torturing freaked me out way more than any MotW they've ever had.

Where he just wants to take charge and take the evil bitches down. You know? And Dean sure would love it!And so would I, Steph. So would I! Maybe they'll head that way towards the end of the season? Because that would be ( ... )
