I wasn't really aiming for the whole 'powerful' vibe, but I share your emotional state of mind. So instead of senseless smut, I ended up creating this tragic background in which I completely fell in love with. *Conceited.*

Actually, I've read a few fics revolving around the outcome of their relationship in the future. They didn't disappointed either, actually. I was just aiming for the whole 'this isn't gonna be easy, boys.'

haha, I'm not much of a fan of Arthur crossdressing (even if I love crossdressing men) because I feel that in this fandom, his pride has taken so much beating that a hit for his man-pride is just too much. But after having said all that... the fact that he's crossdressing here didn't really make me cringe as badly as I usually do. XD In fact, I think it's genius, the way you used it to add to the whole depth of the fic.

;_; they're just so in love and it's just so heartbreaking to be forced apart because of what they are.

Ah, well good luck to the next part. I imagine that if you want to make the ending happy... it'll be one hell of hard time writing it because of the circumstances and all.

I love the sweet fact that they've been separated involuntary and now being with each other even for a short moment, moment of true happiness in each other's arms and presence.

Honestly don't know what I should expect on next part. While we all wishes for happy ending, is the event really that easily to change? The decision between countries and their presidents. And while we also know almost nothing from France's side/POV here, yes, it's hard to think what is going to happen xD At least, for me.
