Supernatural 5.15 Episode Discussion [spoilers!]

I am so over people eating each other.
Ahem.
Okay, so the dead are rising and . . . I wish they would come up with a new plot! When aren't the dead coming back to life on Show? Other than Bobby, there's not a single main character that hasn't died and come back. Even the damned car is a zombie.
Anyway, I felt no pity for the townspeople. Seriously. Who sees the dead rise and just . . . accepts it? Idiots, that's who.
Speaking of idiots . . . even "Digger" noticed that Dean is a queen and he seemed mighty comfortable hiding in the closet. Heheheee.
Dean's instincts in this episode were aces. And Jensen Ackles has totally perfected the dead-eyes-of-empty-death look. Not to mention that heartless!Dean wins at life - and comparatively I did enjoy seeing the more humane side of Sammy in this episode, his character has really been working for me lately.
. . . Hurrah for the new camera angles they were using in this episode. I loved the close up they did of Jensen Ackles doing his best Blue Steel look in the junkyard and then having Zombie!June Cleaver pop up next to him - it was probably my favorite scene!
Gonna admit, I did hope Show was going to be a bit more original with the way they decided to depict Death instead of making him a big skeletal man, then again it could have been Luci in the graveyard? We're all assuming it was Death, but I'm sure Luci is looking pretty ghastly right about now. Not likely, but still worth considering.
I did like the outsider perspective that we were given of Bobby. The entire town sees him as being the "drunk" whereas we've always viewed him as this indefatigable, walking, talking, repository of all things supernatural. I always love these glimpses that we get of the normal person's POV! Cleaned up Bobby was handsome-schmansome!
In the end, I expected more from this episode. Where was the revelation? What new fact did we learn? Where the fuck was Castiel???
I can't wait for the next episode. Caaaaaaasss!!!
