Erika's finally home. Got in early, early Monday morning. At least she didn't have the issues getting in that she did getting out. Unfortunately, I don't know much of what went on... didn't get to talk that much because she got in pretty late in the evenings. Dinners/hanging out with her classmates. Though I'm glad that she seems to be getting along with these classmates than she did with the ones at OSU. Three more trips and then she'll be done... Two next month and then one in April. Which is good because I'm tired of her leaving... miss her too much while she's gone. ::chuckles:: that and I'm getting tired of feeding the animals twice a day... just kidding.
Not much else really going on here on my end. Still plugging away with the embroidery/corsets. Though, I took a day off to relax today and just watch movies and lounge around with the kids. It was a nice day outside so Baldr got to spend a good portion of it running around in the yard. There was a branch that fell during the wind storm that we had the other day. He was running around dragging it behind him... it was pretty comical since it was about as long if not longer than him... with a full load of needles.
In other news, Theresa is getting married in September. And supposedly I've been commissioned to make her dress. At least the last I knew I was. She wanted a fantasy/medieval style dress that she designed... though I really don't know if it's still happening. Because when we talked about it a while ago (when the wedding was still in April) I was supposed to make Erika's dress as well.. to go with the whole theme... But now Erika's supposed to get this strapless gown that is definitely not fantasy or medieval in any way. So I don't know if her mom convinced her to buy her dress or if she still wants me to make it. I need to message her and find out what's going on...
This post is really choppy, but I need to go finish supper so I really don't have time to fix it... that and choppy is my state of mind at the moment... a little ADD if you will.. well... got to go before the pasta's ruined...
