(no subject)
Ergle... it's Friday already... not much going on here. Erika left on Tuesday to go to another session of her chiro course. Though she didn't actually get there til yesterday... With all the snow that the east coast has been slammed with (it was about time for another blizzard, I really don't know why people are acting all shocked about it... it cycles pretty regularly if i remember correctly. lets not even get into the 'snowpoccolypse' crap that's going on...) Erika was stuck in Seattle for a bit because they kept canceling her flights. She finally made it to the Twin Cities area on Wednesday, but the couldn't get her all the way to Milwaukee area (final destination). Since it was weather related, they wouldn't give her any compensation for her canceled flight.... jerks... So she had to pay for a hotel for that night. They managed to have her on standby for multiple flights throughout the day yesterday, which she was able to get on one in the morning. I don't really know what time she got in yesterday... didn't mention that over skype when we talked last night. Keep in mind that she was supposed to be there like mid morning on Wednesday... oh well.
At least the chiro people understood that some people couldn't make it in or make it late due to weather and aren't holding it against them. They even held a webinar for those not there.... Though Erika didn't have any sound supposedly when she was watching it. ::shrugs:: She has to go twice next month, so hopefully the weather will calm a little before then....
Other than holding down the fort, not much else is going on here. Working on corsets, though only when I have the motivation to do so... unfortunately.
