Alphabet Meme: B
So I decided that the B in this meme would stand for bunnies. Bunnies are very cute cuddly animals most of the time. I rather liked that Anya on Buffy was terrified of bunnies and quite enjoyed the short solo she did about them in the magic shop in the musical episode. I find it vastly entertaining
My parents had a bunny when I was very little. Unfortunately it died from eating carpet. The bunny's name was Pumpkin. That was also what my parents had started calling my sister who was still really little when the bunny died, definitely no older than two. So when Dad called Mom at work and said, "Honey, Pumpkin died," for just a moment, Mom thought he meant Meg. Then of course she realized he meant the bunny.
We also had a wild bunny that lived in our backyard when I was about seven and Meg was five or six. This was great during the day, because it's an exciting thing when you're a kid to have a bunny living in your backyard. However, I had, still have actually, a very overactive imagination. My sister came up with the name witch bunny to call the bunny in the backyard. In my mind, when I was laying in bed at night I saw the bunny opening a magic hole in the floor of the house (which closed up after it was through) and climbing the ladder to the second bunk of our bunk beds where I slept (yes climbed the ladder with it's little bunny feet). Then it either ate me or just cackled in a menacing manner, I can't quite remember which. Meg got a kick out of chanting "Wiiiiitch Bunny, Wiiitch Bunny" at night which would terrify me and cause me to scream for Mom. It went on I think until we left the house. Anyway, there are my thoughts and stories on bunnies. Now I'm off to slave away and clean my disaster zone of a room.
