I realize I haven't been on very much recently. Part of this is because I was in Seattle until Thursday morning. Another part, is that it's been pretty quiet around here, but I do have a few things to tell. See the cuts for more.
So last Tuesday, was the Breaking Dawn Concert Event in Seattle. I was there, after having paid eighty-two dollars to buy a ticket on Ebay. I was happy that I got to be there though, so I'm not particularly complaining. I really enjoyed the little mini-concert and Stephenie Meyer and Justin Furstenfeld had a really nice atmosphere to their chatting and bantering. It was a really great evening. If anyone can tell me how to post a video taken on a digital camera and loaded to a computer, I'll post the video I took of the Q and A. The only sucky part was that we waited until nearly eleven 'o' clock to get our books signed, when the event had ended at eight-ten. Oh well, still got to see Stephenie Meyer again and get my book signed! Woot!
Now, while I was in Seattle, I stayed with my grandparents. I found out something really awesome from a Twilight standpoint about my grandma while I was visiting. She graduated from Forks High School! I was so surprised. I find this awesome!
As for the moving up of the Twilight movie, I am psyched! I can't wait to see how the movie actually turned out. During filming it's so much different because one, you can't hear what they're saying, and two, there's no soundtrack or background noise of any kind. Can't wait till the 21st!
I wanted to give a little warning to everyone out there in the form of a cautionary tale. We have a water dispenser for our dog that look like an office water jug on top of a little dish. We also have stairs for our dog so she can actually go through the dog door, which is a bit off the ground. Now these were recently sitting near each other on the back porch (*cough cement slab cough*). My mom was out with the dog last Wednesday, when she saw smoke near the pet door. She got up and looked inside the house, thinking the air conditioner caught on fire or something. When she came back out, she saw that there were flames on the dog stairs! The sun had gone through the water jug in a concentrated hole and actually set the steps on fire! Luckily she was able to put them out and there wasn't damage to anything but the stairs. Just a warning, don't set water jugs near wood stairs.
I think that's all for now.
Stay smart people
