Twilight Stuff
I have a few Twilight things I wanted to discuss. First, the new scenes that were shown on Entertainment Tonight last night make me even more excited for the movie. I think that they actually might be able to pull it off and not have it horribly changed. Second, I watched the video they had talking with Robert Pattison on MTV yesterday. Did anyone else notice how many times he said "I mean" over the course of the interview? It was like a third of the thing was "I mean". Last, I recently found out about The Bella Cullen Project, which is a Twilight tribute band. Their songs are actually really good. I've only been able to listen to five of them, but I really like their sound. I think my two favorite songs are Switzerland and Sexy Vampire. Sexy Vampire is fun because it's really upbeat and just a fun little song. Switzerland is awesome because of the images that the chorus conjures up. Okay yes, I'm a word nerd. I'm a sucker for a well-written phrase. "I'm gray matter/between and field of red/and a river of sun" That is just an amazing image, especially the river of sun part. I always see the image of when sun is reflecting off the water in a river or creek and it's blinding but beautiful at the same time. Anyway, just wanted to share.
