If only I knew how to tag people...
The first player of this game starts with the "6 weird things/habits about yourself" and people who get tagged need to write a blog of their 6 weird habits/things as well and state this rule clearly. In the end you need to choose the 6 people to be tagged and list their names.
1. I cannnot stand to hear the sound of teeth hitting metal. If I were to accidentally bite my fork, I usually end up shuddering for a few seconds. I don't think it's the actual sound of my teeth (or anyone else's for that matter) hitting the fork, but more of a sensation that the sound creates... like nails on a chalkboard or whathaveyou.
2. I have a tendency to feel sorry for inanimate objects. Take all those damn Easter toys retail stores have on display. In a month, they'll all be heaped into some discount cart and totally forgotten. I almost always end up buying some goddamned bunny--not because I need said bunny, but because I feel guilty for not buying it. You know, "poor little bunny that no one wanted." Ridiculous.
3. I never slept holding a pillow until after I had this major surgery my junior year of high school. Long story short, my lower abdomen was cut open vertically, and the first month of my recovery required me to compress a pillow over the incision to prevent any damage to the area. Now I CANNOT fall asleep unless I'm holding a pillow or bundle of covers over my stomach. The psychology of sleep amazes me...
4. I think palindromes are lucky.
5. I don't like to hear things I've pre-recorded on the radio. Yes, it's my job, but something about hearing my own voice without my talking kind of wierds me out.
6. I find thunderstorms to be sexy.
Just a small selection of my many, many, many wierd habits. Now, who's going to tell me how to tag six people so that I can continue this tradition? Any takers? Volunteers? I'll try to make it worth your while...
