Sewing of the Davey Jones Costume~

Yup. I got a new stack of sewing machine needles a few days ago, then I caught a cold. It is now a sinus infection, but I really want to work on this costume, so I am.
What I've done so far:
- Gotten pants and jacket material
- removed cuffs/ reattached cuffs upside-down and inside-out
- Sewn them all up to look like giant pirate cuffs
- Started putting on the gold braid on the cuffs
What needs to be done:
- finish the gold braid on the cuffs
- fix up the collar
- more gold braid on the button holes
- get/put on giant golden buttons
- make it look ratty with sea stuff
- take in the pants to fit me waist
- shorten up the pant legs
- muck everything up with sea gunk
What needs to be bought-- THEN done:
- get them boots-- wait; get THE boot
- get Davey Jones mask to then muck up and make look better
- make the tentacles bounce and wiggle (listen to a lot of pop music, maybe?)
- get fabric for pirate shirt
- make pirate shirt from pattern I already have for the wonderful pirate jacket and pants~
- gunk up shirt with sea stuff
- get the hat! gunk up the hat! wear the hat~~~
- paper mache the claw
- get red fabric and some stucco like stuff
- wrap claw in red fabric, stucco it, and then put more red on it... and then more sea crap!
- make crab leg
- make cane to lean on because it is very hard to walk in crab leg
- put heel inside the boot so that I can walk on the crab leg at the same height as the boot... make sense? oh well. XD
- get tentacle for the hand
- pipe!

And that is it.
Yup.
