Christmas time....

Merry Christmas! Ash sent me email yesterday explaining this whole online journal thing. So I thought what the heck? I'll give it a shot.

Today has been a bit surreal. We got up early, ran off to feed my horse, then rushed to meet my dad at church. We attended a Salvation Army service with him. It was light hearted and he loved it. Although he did have to get up to do a reading at one stage and I could not help but notice how much his hands were shaking. It really upset me to see my dad who has always been the biggest strongest man I know, suddenly looking quite frail. It was very disquieting.

After church we went to moms. We had a great Christmas lunch of seafood, including lobster and prawns and the usual turkey and stuff. It was fun and the afternoon was spent with a game of backyard cricket. The funniest thing was watching my nan (who's like 76) batting and bowling and running around with the kids. She had a great day. I bet she will sleep well tonight.

We just got home around 9.30pm. We had to go and feed Indi and there were fireworks going off so I had to run around the field trying to get him. He was not a happy campers.

Greg's now watching his Seinfeld DVDs he got for Christmas and I am about to go to bed and slip into that food coma. I ate WAY too much today. I've thought all night about making various phone calls to Michigan - doing the whole drunk dialing thing. But I've decided it's not probably not the healthiest thing to do right now. Maybe tomorrow :)
