well, today I went to tour the U.S. capitol and it was amazing. Really. And tomorrow we go tour the white house. And I'll write about all this and post pictures tomorrow. As well as my "one year ago..." posts. My da dhas the laptop at the moment so I can't post them I will do that tomorrow.

the relatives (minus marcelle, who flew home) came over today and we went swimming in the lake, had our third fourth of july diner in the last 3 days, lit of sparklers, and i drove with Casey in the mustang. Casey who is not my sister.

WELL, I for one had an awesome Fourth of July. We went down to DC, met some relatives that I havn't seen since I was 4 from a very confusing branch of the family tree and walked all around the Mall area. And no, the mall isnt a mall. Its a huge park a few miles long that runs from the Capitol to the Lincoln Memorial with all the other meorials ( Read more... )

Yesterday I had to wake up twice to say goodbye to all of our grandparents. I don't think I even mentioned that my dad's parents stayed with us for two weeks, and my mom's mother stayed with us over the weekend so they all could see Casey and Abby perform in their dance recital.
