I went to discuss my exam essay with my seminar teacher yesterday. I got a 'B' with which I'm incredibly pleased. In the beginning of the year, I started out with a 'C'. (an 'A' for next year?) My last English exam today!

Two subjects, on Baldwin or Woolf, and I, in search of simplicity & easiness like the rest of my class bar one, naturally chose Woolf. Because Woolf is love. (Go feminism!) Because the passage was on food. And 'Self-Reliance' was a thorny passage that made my mind bleed.

I've just had 3... 4... 5...? weeks of holidays, as you can see it's mushed my brain.
I filled the time up amply with futile exercises of opening and closing my mouth and making intelligible sounds (most of the time at least) and burning (or maybe that would be ingurgitating) calories on lovely terraces next to beautiful slopes. I didn't even manage ( Read more... )
