I have chronic yeast infections, and interstitial cystitis. It is terrible. I have an overgrowth of yeast almost all the time, which gets worse from the point I ovulate to the point I menstruate.

However, it seems that big life changes or climate changes ignite an overgrowth so intense that even 3 rounds of anti-fungal cream in 2 months does next to nothing.

It was confirmed by a Dr. a week before I left to North Dakota from New Mexico that I had a candida over growth and I brushed it off because I always do until I got off the airplane and had open sores from the infection that NEEDED treatment immediately.

the first treatment seemed to help, but it came back 2-3 weeks later. The second treatment for longer. The third treatment did literally nothing. SO. I'm going to change my diet for a while and probably follow some of your supplement plans because I am desperate.

Thank you for sharing!

if you don't mind getting messy, one thing that I have done is puncture a betacarotene capsule and applied the inside liquid to my crotch skin (after "washing" with yogurt and rinsing thoroughly and air-drying). As long as it is betacarotene (NOT retinyl palmitate) it is safe and it worked astonishingly well for me -- it made my hpv outbreak clear up in a few weeks when I applied once a week. A friend of mine also tried it after they got cracked skin due to a yeast infection and they said it helped. It will stain clothes though, and will stain your fingers for about a day (if you wash them as often as I do ( ... )

if you're not ready to reduce sugar and simple carbs yet, simply increasing the amount of water you drink and raw veggies you eat will help even without that, because the water makes it a less hospitable environment for the bad stuff and the veggies help the good ones to multiply.

For me, water is number 1 over anything else (I drink at least 96 oz a day when I'm combating an infection, but I do sweat a lot and I am quite a large person).

I really really hope you get a good visit w your doc that helps a lot!
