Last time I played I read everything and commented a lot -- but this time there are so many more players, so I'll hold off on getting more involved until there are fewer entries (if I last that long). I wrote my entry in the very last hour this week because I was unsure if I really wanted to participate, so it was not my usual well-honed stuff. But I want to try and maintain a less formal tone, because last time my LJ Idol entries were too different from my usual tone, even though the more formal tone is more popular. So, my goal is to hone my writing for an audience without losing the immediacy and intimacy of journal writing.
