Click to viewI saw "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" last night at the first screening. Beautilful, beautiful film. I didn't feel the length at all -- the running time is 2 hours 48 minutes -- I enjoyed it from the beginning to the end, and although I didn't cry, the tears welled up in my eyes several times. The image and story has been lingering in my mind since.
And the special make-up is AMAZING! It's like, Brad Pitt in "River Runs Through It" era has returned! I want that special effects on my skin. And of course, Cate Blanchett was just stunning to look at. She's definitely one of the best actors alive.
The film will open on February 7, 2009 in Japan.
