Click to viewKeanu received a Bambi Award in Germany on November 27, 2008. The pretty presenter (German actress) seemed to be overwhelming. I liked she mentioned about The Lake House, and they showed the clips from TLH and Speed. Sandy received the same award back in 2000 and gave speech in German. She talked about how her German mother had told her to be original, and got emotional a bit while she was saying that because her mom died earlier that year.
Recently I read an interview of Keanu's in promoting The Day The Earth Stood Still, and he talked about his passion about motorcycles, and said that something like, "for my 40th birthday, I was given a West Chopper motorcycle by Sandra Bullock's husband." He said how expensive the bike would be, but I forgot, and am too lazy to check on the source, but it was very expensive, something like $50,000 or....
It's interesting that he said "Sandra Bullock's husband", not simply "Jesse James." I'd like to think that he wanted to mention Sandy's name! Hee!
Keanu's coming to Tokyo for Japan Premiere on 18th December, and I've been applying for the ticket, but I'm not very optimistic. Let's see...
