It's been a while since the last time I wrote one of these, but here it is at last.

Last night's snow is gone,
Even faster than it fell.
Ice-melt wets the soil.
You and I fight that way too,
My face still sodden with tears.

 It was in a notebook that I stole from Brendan two years ago and used for about a week. I'm pretty pleased with it, now that I remember its existence. It is also possibly the darkest and most disturbing thing I've ever written, which is appropriate, given the source material.
