Feeling a little hollow now. We lost one of our electric friends today; regalpewter quietly passed away after her long fight with cancer, according to her "Bride and Joy" on Facebook.

Even though we never met in person, I always considered her a friend, and we had a number of exchanges of words over FB, so I'll miss that "voice" even though I never heard it.

Got the notice today that it is walkertxkitty's birthday. I was going to post a comment on her journal today to say that we miss and still remember her, but it occurred to me that she screened all comments and would have to approve it -- which would be difficult if the Elysian Fields don't have Internet access ( Read more... )

Weeks ago, we learned in therealljidol community that our dear friend walkertxkitty had passed away. One sees comments and postings about "chemo" and various conditions for years on end, but here among electric friends it's hard to imagine such real-world illnesses finally coming to collect their toll. Considering the people I have as internet friends, this could get interesting. Since I'm always busy, I'll work on the answers when I can and post them all on Friday, April 11 -- giving you the "411" on 4/11.
