Big belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY (Friday) to kleptodevil !
Saturday the_dark_snack and I met up with veronica_rich , and were joined by dahlianna and her friend, for lunch and Half-Price Books shopping (I only spent $1!). The five of us will be getting together again Thursday for Thanksgiving.
Sunday we got the local Christmas theatre season officially underway by seeing "Don We Now Our Gay Apparel" at Theatre on the Square. For a holiday-themed show full of gay characters and hosted by the drag trio of We Three Queens of the Orient Bar (and Grill), it had an awful long skit about va-jay-jays (including the North Pole production of "The Vagina Monologues"). Needless to say, Snack felt right at home.
And today we picked up our turkey, since there will be more of us eating, we got the whole bird rather than an oversized breast -- for a better price thanks to a Meijer promotion. The thawing started from the time we picked it out of the store freezer, so Snack can cook it Wednesday.
Oh, and before I go, I must note that LJ Idol voting is under way through Tuesday evening, a community-only vote, so if you can, please participate as with the smaller voting pool every one really counts.
