Hail and Tatts and Violas and Shit
First, randomly, I bought like $30 worth of fruit Sunday and spent a little while chopping up tangerines, grapes, apples and pineapple to make five little tubs of fruit salad for the week. And this was a brilliant idea. Mayhaps a new weekly ritual :)
Next is the tattoo. My last entry was more a fleeting fancy I think. As much as I want it, I think I'll have to wait. Oh well.
And the viola? I finally got it!!! I'm so excited! I took it home and (since they ship with lose strings) attempted to tune it. And immediately broke the C string. Fuck lol. So Saturday I take it in to my local shop for restringing. And they'll tighten and tune all the strings for me too :) Pictures will be posted in the not too distant future.
Last is the hail. We had about 5-10 minutes of hail yesterday evening. And I'm not talking about the hail I've seen in Maryland. This was golf to tennis ball sized hail. And I was at work when it started - it was just a pounding on the roof to the point that the roof shook a little and the air vent near my desk started shaking out dust. WTF? So I now have 10-20 quarter to golf ball sized dents on my car and three cracks in my windshield. But, as evidenced by a co-worker's car in the same exact parking lot, it could have been a lot worse:
