Shiny and new
I went to Auckland on Tuesday, had my visa interview and flew back on Wednesday, and got my visa on Thursday.
After expecting it to take about one to two weeks, that was pretty damn quick.
I didn't see anyone I knew in Auckland. Got a few text messages from friends, but as they were working, I had to entertain myself. The weather was cold. I hung out at Borders mostly, and spent a bit of time wandering up and down Queen St, which was being torn up landscaped "improved".
Anyway, now I'm back, and am in the process of moving out of my apartment. kittyfarmer and I will be moving back to his parents' place in Lower Hutt, and then going overseas in a month or so. Tentative leaving date is still around the 15th of August.
In other news... the iPhone may be cool and all, but will it blend?
