I noticed on a friend's facebook page that they're making a sequel to the Dark Crystal (in 2011 x.x) and it got me on a nostalgic kick, so I rewatched Labyrinth. Still such an awesome movie, but now the songs are quite stuck in my head, hence the title.
It's been a decent week. Dinner Friday night with the awesome people, although Speakeasy is a bit overpriced and very hard to find! The art installations were interesting though, that's for sure. Saturday I went to Drunken DDR (part deux). I discovered many interesting things. For instance Dethklok has released an album (do want). Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix is freaking awesome (I really wish I could get a copy of the soundtrack, 'Always Smiling' is a really pretty song). Also that game is way more forgiving on your steps (you can practically miss the step and still keep your combo). I learned what a 'dark 'n' stormy' is, and why it's awesome. I also learned that I want to watch 'Flight of the Conchords' (the LoTR skit I saw was hilarious... don't wear the ring!).
I was so inspired by the awesomeness of last night's DDR party that I decided to go ahead and buy DDR-X. It's a pretty fun game so far. Dancing to 'Butterfly', 'Here it Goes Again', and 'Can't Touch This' was pretty fun. Also it's the first mainstream DDR game to have a plot. LOL at having a plot by the way... but it's fun, and I'll have a bit unlocked for the next DDR party in two weeks. I also picked up DDR-Max2 (it was $17 so I figured why not).
Other than that I just have a lot of work: should be starting the famous 3-D wild type development experiment for real tomorrow. Here's hoping it works.
