American Cancer Society: charity or terrorist organization?
I've never been so disappointed in a charity before in my life. The American Cancer Society is holding it's 'Relay For Life' event about two blocks away from where I live. The noise is so loud that my windows are rattling and I am unable to sleep even though it is 3:20 am. I have called the police but apparently there is a loophole because this event is being held on state property and so the athens-clarke county noise ordinance does not apply. I doubt anyone in this neighborhood can sleep and I think it's very rude of the American Cancer Society. I would encourage everyone I know to never give this organization aid. If you're interested in supporting cancer research and outreach please find another organization.
