Seth has chided me for not telling this story - so here it is. As I’ve said, there’s a lot of construction in the neighborhood, especially the neighbors to our left who have had all manner of bulldozers, jackhammers and noisy men working for most the summer. So a few weeks back just as the summer weather was kicking in, I was in the yard with the dogs and noticed through the trees a giant blue tarp. Not one to miss a Gladys Kravitz moment, I strained and poked around for a better view, dreading what construction project might be next. But it was so big I finally figured it must be the neighbors across from them getting their house tented for bugs or something. Then to my shock and amazement I realized that big blue tarp was actually blue sky. That’s right folks - it had been so long since I’d see blue instead of gray, I didn’t know what it was.
That’s Mz. Kravitz to you!
