Meisa didn't get it, why was it still cold enough that there was a chance of snow occurring? Winter was supposed to be over by now, shouldn't it? It was near the end of March! There was supposed to be more blue than gray in the sky and it was supposed to be warm. It was time to shed heavy winter wear for a lighter spring wardrobe, right?
She was contemplating all this as she waited at the bottom of the steps of the Met for Nino. Not that she'd been waiting for very long, barely having gotten there several minutes ago herself. Meisa had slept in until noon, yesterday's double shift had been especially tiring, but she was looking forward to meeting up with Nino and spending more time at the Met. After tea last time, they'd made their way all the way back to the museum, only for Meisa's pager to go off requesting that she take the graveyard shift that night. The two of them had agreed to meet again and see more of the museum together. Meisa needed this breather, tomorrow would be another double shift.
