Nino rolled his neck and then his shoulders, sighing out softly. His wings pressed out against his shirt and folded against his back with the motion. It had been strange working with them at first. Nino had spent most of the early morning stepping gingerly around things for fear of breaking them - only to have people looking at him strangely. Andy, similarly, had spent most of the morning looking at him worriedly. Nino had yet to tell anyone in the cafe about the events of Sunday. He didn't think he was ever going to.
Once he'd stopped thinking about the wings, though, it became much easier to get around. The strange looks stopped coming. Nino was glad that he was going on break, though, no matter how familiar the wings were.
Nino put in his order for lunch and left the kitchen. Ohno was supposed to be arriving soon.
