Misono had looked up Sho's address on Tuesday, after she'd signed Aiba's cast and had bid goodbye to Meisa at Come Again. She'd made things mostly right there, with Aiba, both on Monday and again on Tuesday. But settling things with Aiba was easy because he was Aiba. Settling things with Sho was probably going to be harder and, possibly, more important. Things had not ended well between them and she had no clue how angry Sho might still be with her.
She had her hands full. In more ways than one, if she were honest with herself, but mostly full of her brush set, her ink set, her paper weights, her largest calligraphy mat, the mat that went under that, a paper case with several rolls of paper, a bottle of sake, a bag of sweet oranges for a house-visiting gift, the bag containing her work clothes, and Vampire Baby. Carrying everything was hard enough but it was made even more difficult by the nearly ankle-length sleeves of her kimono.
She wondered if it would give the completely wrong impression if she kicked Sho's door instead of knocking. Maybe if she were very gentle about it? "Sho-san, please let me in!"
