Did I say this next post would be about something other than Doctor Who? Oh, well. he beginning scene is cute and funny, just the right amount of Doctor douche with an added bit of cluelessness because, seriously, Eleven is a lot like a drunk toddler.
The stag night scene = one of the best pre-titles sequence in New Who.
mean even Ten's breakdown about Wilf was so heartbreaking only because it was the last straw for him, to know that that part of his personality, which he so loved, was what was going to be his end. Eleven doesn't seem to have the same sense of love or compassion for people. Nor does Amy.
I think that in essence, the Doctor and his companion do have sense of love and compassion for people (at least, in Russell's era that usually is the case that we see), it's just that the writers haven't done them justice yet this series in terms of character. (I don't really want to give too much away, but you just wait for ep 10.) There were vague bits and pieces here and there but nothing really substantial. There were lots of adventures and fun and scares and plots but I really wanted more characters we can really sink our teeth into (vampire pun notwithstanding).
BUT I only cared about Bob until he became Angel Bob.
I LAUGHED SO HARD AT ANGEL BOB.
Eleven up on the building looked waaaaay more fakey and wrong than Ten doing the same thing in the Manhattan episodes
I actually cringed when I saw Eleven climbing up the bell tower thingy. I'm sorry, The Mill, but it just looked wrong.

Ugh, Angel Bob.
UGH, THE MILL. I just don't understand that at all. They're usually so on!
